Final Blog Post on my experiences and expectations on Italy

I am in love with Italy I will truly miss it so much! I will come back tho definitely in the future if the army stations me in Germany I will take the train to Italy to visit the sites o have not yet seen.

Venice: it was so beautiful and I’m glad I got to do most of the things I wanted. Expect the gondola rides it cost $110 for 30mim. Who’s going to pay $110 for that? Not me my I mange to take a lot of gondola pics! I wished I got to explore the Murano glass museum I’m definitely going to do that again and see it so excited I really wanted to get cute murano glass.

Orvieto: cute little town it was nice settling down after a crazy city like Venice my favorite part was the hot springs. It was so nice! I was not expecting an oil tasting that was delicious I’m definitely coming again I brought an olive oil hand crème it was so creamy highly recommended!

Fonteccio: my least favorite spot but still beautiful it was nice to see an authentic side of Italy and meet alessios hometown and wife they were all very welcoming although I was so sad I didn’t get a chance to see the bonfire due to a sracp of my knee and I was packing to go to Florence

Florence: my favorite place and experience out of Italy it was nice to be back on the city. Although it didn’t feel like too much like Rome. Less people and a lot to do but it wasn’t overwhelming. It was a nice pace especially from being in the countryside after a while. I loved Florence becasue of out all my trip time passed slow it was nice to not be rushed with the group and I was with less pepole so therefore I was able to take in the whole expeirance more. Me and the girls had a wonderful time in Florence.

Amalfi: it was soooo beautiful the water was just expectional! I was soooo heartbroken when I found out we were not going to postiano, Naples or capri. I wanted to take a picture with the cost in postiano and a boat ride from Naples to capri. We didn’t do much but a hike in amalfi so I wish we did more!

Rome: my second favorite thus far I loved Rome and it’s safe to say got to do everything in my bucket list in Rome. I was not expecting to get a photo let alone make a reel out of the church sant ignazio it was amazing they had a mirror where you can take selfie in. You pay $2 of $1 euro to turn off the light so that it turns into a mirror so cool didn’t know it does that. I didn’t think we were gonna get a chance to go to it especially with it being the last day and the Vatican but the bisillica line was sooo long we decided to leave the line was long as the Vatican pillars itself it was crazy!

I was sad I didn’t get to do some of the things I wanted but oh well I will come back as I explore the rest of Europe! Ciao Italia! ❤️
